Missions
“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations.” Mat 28:18 (NIV)
From its beginning Redeemer has always placed the highest emphasis on Missions outreach. We are missions-minded in that Jesus stated in Matthew 28:18 – “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations.” In keeping with this directive, Redeemer has been faithful in its participation in the Great Commission by supporting missionaries in the field across the world. We not only do this with financial support, but we also provide encouragement through prayer, individual contact, and remembering birthdays.
We hold an annual Missions Conference that helps keep Redeemer focused and faithful to our support task. Featured speakers and some of our own missionaries provide us with insights into daily life and the ever-present reliance on God to meet their physical, financial, and spiritual needs.
Our 2012 Mission Conference on March 2-4 will feature Dr. Richard Pratt and many of our missionaries who will share what the Lord is doing through their ministries.
Dr. Pratt is the President of Third Millennium Ministries (
www.thirdmill.org). Third Millennium was launched in response to the lack of training of Christian leaders around the world. Third Millennium recognizes where the church is growing the fastest, those Christian leaders have the least amount of training. Helping the church worldwide became Dr. Pratt's passion and he believes that any person that has the desire to learn more about the Bible should be given that opportunity. Furthermore, it should be accessible, in their own language, and at no cost to them.
Third Millennium was launched in 1997 to provide: "Biblical Education, For the World, For Free." This goal is being met by building a multimedia seminary curriculum in English, Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), Russian and Spanish.

Friday, March 2nd
6:30pm Chili cook-off fellowship and children's program with puppet show.
7:30pm Speaker: Dr. Andy Sanders, Christian Medical Dental Association.
Saturday, March 3rd
9:00am Ladies morning outreach and luncheon.
6:30pm Speaker: Dr. Richard Pratt, Third Millenium Ministries. Children's program. Reception to follow.
Sunday, March 4th
9:15am Missionaries speak to all Sunday School classes.
10:30am Worship. Dr. Pratt will preach.

Our 2011 Missions Conference on March 4-6 featured Dr. Billy Kim, a world-renowned evangelist and broadcaster with the Far East Broadcasting Co., Korea. Joining him was the 41 member Korean Children's Choir, who have performed throughout the world!
