Worship/Music

 

Worship is the very heart of the believer's existence and the body life of the church. Therefore, we want the Sunday morning corporate worship service to be our defining event. Our goal is to come into the presence of God with a sense of reverence and awe each time we worship Him.

 

At Redeemer, we are committed to a balanced blend of music styles in worship, employing music from a broad range of backgrounds. We seek to use songs that are musically excellent, theologically correct, edifying to the body, and consistent with our goals for worship and the mission of this church. We use a worship team of singers and instrumentalists to lead our congregation in singing.

 

Worship is the very goal of salvation and is the highest and most joyful activity of redeemed humanity. It is the very heart of the believer’s existence and of the body life of the church.

 

Worship is to be reverent and joyful. We not only come into His presence with a deep sense of awe at the thought of His perfect holiness and our own exceeding sinfulness, but we also enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise.

 

Worship that honors God truly satisfies and edifies believers. We were created for the praise of His glory and He is worthy of worship that we can enjoy.
