About the Event
A Passover Seder is the celebration meal where Jews commemorate their release from captivity as slaves. As believers in Jesus the Messiah, we will have a Seder to celebrate our release from captivity too, the deeper slavery to sin. This is a family event with all kinds of interactive elements for kids. However, we will provide childcare for kids 3 and under.
In our Passover Seder, we will see how the Jewish people celebrate Passover today, what all of the symbolic foods represent, and how Jesus is beautifully pictured in the Passover celebration and story. Furthermore, as the meaning of Passover is explained, the significance of the Lord's Supper is also brought to light.
WHEN/WHERE | Sunday, March 26, 5:30-7:00 PM at Redeemer Church, Fellowship Hall
PREPARATION | There is a significant amount of preparation that goes into any Seder. Even more, we're attempting to celebrate with our whole church and kids. Therefore, please complete the sign up in full, including the Perfect Potluck, and pay attention to all follow-up communications.
Shalom,
Anthony
