In the early church we notice that the believers met together publicly, but also privately in homes. This is the biblical roots for informal meetings and house churches. At Redeemer, a home group is a voluntary, intentional gathering of people who meet on a regular basis (preferably in homes) to build relationships through fellowship, study, sharing and supporting one another in their Christian lives.
