“We are a people glorifying God by reaching people for Christ and furthering the Kingdom of God in Evans and the Nations”

Michael & Amy Parks, Fremantle, Western Australia.

Michael and Amy met through Campus Crusade for Christ at Clemson University and were married in 2003. Michael has worked in the landscape architecture industry for 12 years while serving the church body with his whole heart. Amy is a homemaker who is passionate about sharing the love of Christ with women, particularly young mothers, through evangelistic small groups.

Michael has had a life-long interest in cross-cultural missions, but waited very patiently until Amy was similarly called in 2011. Both are deeply thankful that God has given them a love and a passion for the people of Hobart, Tasmania.

The Parks are excited to join the team in Tasmania and use their gifts of hospitality and mercy, gathering for the purpose of sharing the gospel in the highly relational culture and showing Christ’s love to the brokenhearted. They will help to strengthen the existing church in Tasmania by nurturing believers as they grow in the faith through discipleship.

Anyone who wants to trust God and who wants to be used of God to get the Good News to the unreached can make a Faith Promise commitment.
