Short-Term Trips
"Missions is the process of reaching unreached peoples with the Gospel, which requires intense language-learning, cultural study, and relationship-building. Short-term missions, therefore, does not exist. All of our missions — however long we’re physically in the country — is long-term missions. Church resources should be invested in short-term trips as a way of supporting missionaries, not as a separate missions strategy."

2017 Salt Lake City, Utah
Redeemer teamed with two pastors that are financially supported by our church in leading a Vacation Bible School in a predominately Mormon community.
2016 Acapulco, Mexico
In the summer of 2016 Redeemer returned to Acapulco to continue work on the new dorms at Casa Hogar Orphanage.
2015 Acapulco, Mexico
In the summer of 2015 a team of 18 adults and high school students went to Casa Hogar to help with the construction of new dormitories and to minister to the children each evening through a variety of games, skits, and activities. Casa Hogar is an orphanage that was started almost 30 years ago, and is a refuge for many young Mexican children and teenagers who no longer have a place to call home.
2014 Cusco, Peru
In the summer of 2014, a Medical Team at La Fuente Medical Clinic sent a request to Redeemer to come frame a 4000 sq. ft. addition to their medical clinic. From the time of the request until the flight to Cusco was only about 12 weeks. Seven men from Redeemer and 3 others went and framed the entire space in one week. It was amazing to see God bring this together so quickly and see it to completion. La Fuente is a medical clinic located in one of the poorest areas of Cusco. They offer a variety of medical services such as dental, ophthalmology pediatrics, and physical therapy.
2013 Black River, Jamaica
In the summer of 2013, our Senior Pastor, his wife, and two others went to Jamaica to minister with and support Cataboo Church, Black River, Jamaica. The area we visited was far from the images of tourism you often associate with Jamaica.
The end result was a wonderful week of ministering to children through VBS, many friendships made with local pastors, and the ability to help support a young man through his seminary training.
2012 Fairmont, West Virginia
In the summer of 2012, Redeemer took a team of ten adults and youth to do renovations in a very poor community in Fairmont, WV. While there the team was able to build a deck and a porch addition to a local trailer. It was a wonderful opportunity to share the love of Jesus in word and deed.
The Fairmont Ministry is a ministry of Mission to the World in an impoverished community in WV. Redeemer was very fortunate to be included in this great endeavor to reach those in the community for Christ.
